Is this the grease gun? Or am I mistaken?.. I thought it was made because it was cheaper than the Thompson. O.O I assumed, anyway.

In US Army? No idea, I think they just use M4 as PDW.
What I know of the Dutch army cavalry(we just lost all the tanks, thanks to the politicians), they used the Diemaco C8.
